I’m wondering why
You hurt me then
You’re back again?
No, no, no, not a second time
not a second time
Not a second time
no, no, no, no, no

“Not a second time”, Beatles

What a way to start your article about Benfica‘s 0-2 win in Everton yesterday, after they had beaten Everton in o Estádio da Luz with five to nill last Europa League match! I know they are pretty mad about football in Portugal, but what about this article.

I love it!

Browsing through Pieter’s pictures of his trip to Lisbon, I came across a lovely picture of a prego-sandwich. This lovely Portuguese delicacy brings back a lot of memories of my six-month stay in Lisbon a few years ago. I promised Pieter to upload a recipe I tried out a few months ago.

The recipe is one from Tessa Kiros’ book Piri Piri Starfish, Portugal Found…. By the way, a truly magnificent cook-book! The combination of the recipes, the pictures and the overall lay-out and design of the book make you want to make every single dish in the book. I’m nearly there, believe me ;-)

The recipe for Tessa Kiros’ Prego Rolls with homemade Piri Piri Sauce served with Potatoes with Olive Oil, Coarse Salt and Rosemary can be found on ifyoucantstandtheheat. But my suggestion is to just eat this sandwich as a snack, at lunch or somewhere during the night. It’s probably one of the best snacks you’ll ever have!

Last but not least, I do not want you to miss Pieter’s picture…
