Interested in the header picture?
Well, it shows me, or at least my back-pack on my way to Mueller Hut, at 1800m in the Sealy Range, New Zealand. From the hut, you have a magnificent 360°-view encompassing glaciers, ice cliffs, vertical rock faces and New Zealand’s highest peaks.
The top visible in the picture, is the top of Mount Ollivier, 1933m and the first mountain Sir Edmund Hillary climbed. Very glad to be in the footsteps of this great man, I did the fairly easy rock scramble to the summit on a morning after seeing an incredible sunset at this wonderfull piece of Earth.
